Valatou is a true Floridian who grew up and was raised in Tarpon Springs, FL. She later moved to Central Florida to pursue college. She graduated from UCF with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and went on to pursue a Masters in Health Service Administration. She graduated from NOVA Southeastern University with a Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Degree.
After working in many other specialties, Valatou has realized her passion for Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine. She has a strong experience in physical and psychosocial assessments; diagnosis and management of complex health problems; patient stabilization and restorative care; interpretation of results from laboratory and diagnostic tests; prescribing and managing medications, treatments and therapies; and general patient and family education. A large part of this experience came handy while dealing with the survivors of The Pulse shooting. Valatou is a strong addition to the practice and will bring about a new element in patient care.
On her spare time she loves to go to the gym, work out, and spend time with family and friends.
