Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Rachel is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). They have a clinically focused Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Central Florida, along with a generalist practice Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) with a minor in nonprofit management. With continuing education across various intervention models, they personalize care to align with the needs of the client; with additional completed certificates in Psychotherapy and the Mind-Body Connection, Mindfulness, Meditation, and Brain Health for incorporating holistic wellness perspectives in care.
Rachel seeks to provide a collaborative approach to counseling and psychotherapy by respecting you as the expert of your life, and joining you in identifying strategies of change for fulfilled living. Rachel is able to hold space for you to process and move through some of the deeper pain of life while also celebrating your empowerment and success. They provide services to individual adolescents and adults, families, groups, and workshops, with a history of experience across the care continuum of crisis, inpatient, residential, and outpatient treatment settings.
Rachel works with survivors of complex trauma ranging from childhood abuse, interpersonal violence, and human trafficking. They have supported in the aftermath of community impacting events, including serving Pulse affected individuals and their families. They also help clients experiencing impacts of grief and loss, difficulties with mood, anxiety, emotion regulation, psychosis and schizophrenia, substance use, management of health and wellness, development of self-compassion, gender identity, relationship and sexual orientation, healthy relationships, life decisions, and more.
They enjoy honoring each client’s unique strengths and meaningful belief systems in treatment, value neurodiversity and ability diversity, and are POC and LGBTQIA+ affirming. Rachel supports an inclusive treatment community with integrated, integrative, and trauma informed care.
